IMV Corporation is making strong steps in establishing itself in the European market. This was seen during this year’s Automotive Testing Expo, the leading event for quality, safety, reliability and service life of vehicles, in Stuttgart. ”The interest in our systems was very strong“, Dipl.-Ing. Martin Engelke, Marketing and Sales Manager IMV Europe, said after three days of intensive talks and contacts with customers and prospects.

IMV presented several running systems, such as a 24kN air-cooled ECO Shaker. This convinced visitors of the low noise level of the IMV systems. The company had another four vibration test systems on show; these were demonstrated together as multi-point shakers. All four shakers were operated by one controller; three shakers for one test specimen and one shaker for a second test specimen. This demonstrated the ability to test large, unwieldy specimens or simple test pieces of unconventional geometry. By using small shakers for multi-point vibration eliminates the requirement for complex clamping fixtures. (15/07/2014)
